Arseni Sadykov was born in 1989 in Polotsk, Belarus. After graduating successfully from Polotsk School of Arts, Novopolotsk Music College and the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk, he earned his Bachelor's degree at the Claudio Monteverdi Conservatory in Bolzano, Italy, from 2011 to 2013. Over the following two years he completed his Master’s degree at the Liszt School of Music in Weimar, Germany. Since 2015 Arseni Sadykov has been studying in the master class of Gerlinde Otto in Weimar in order to complete a Concert Exam degree. Sadykov has won several prizes and special awards at renowned international competitions, including 4th Prize at the Epinal International Piano Competition, 3rd Prize at the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition Weimar-Bayreuth, 1st Prize at the Young Piano Stars International Piano Competition in Wernigerode, Germany, and 1st Prize at the International Piano Competition of Lagny-sur-Marne, France.
Ever since, the young pianist has played successful solo concerts in Europe and Asia as well as frequent tours throughout his homeland Belarus. He also took part at the prominent international festival Musica Mundi in Brussels, Belgium, where he took the stage with violinists Ivry Gitlys and Maksim Vengerov, pianist Itamar Golan and cellist Steven Isserlis. In 2015, Sadykov applied for the vacant piano position with Spark and won out over various contestants from all over Europe. Since 2016, he has been a permanent member of the Classical Band. Besides Spark, Sadykov plays and sings in his own rock band, for which he composes all the songs.
